Javelin Logistics Corporation today announces the opening of their newest logistics and distribution operation, in Dallas Texas. This latest facility, located at 1270 Champion Circle in Carrollton, will be operational on August 6. The 25,000 square foot building will provide a base of operations for Javelin’s growing transportation service operations, as well as provide material management service capabilities for customers in the greater DFW marketplace.
Malcolm Winspear, President of Javelin Logistics stated; “This latest addition to our operations is very exciting for Javelin as it brings us in to the dynamic and growing Dallas – Ft. Worth marketplace, which has long been a targeted expansion location for the company.” Javelin already operates over 800,000 square feet of warehousing and distribution space in various markets, including a 72,000 square foot facility in Austin Texas. The company utilizes a mixture of owned and contracted assets to provide local, national and international ground and air freight transportation, as well as warehousing & distribution, physical inventory & material management, and order fulfillment services.
Winspear added: “ The new operation will not only allow us to provide better transportation services for our current customers in the DFW area, but is projected to provide for substantial growth through the availability of our entire suite of integrated logistics services. The Dallas facility will also allow us to provide improved and complementary services to our customers in the Austin market.”
